HOW CAN I HELP?
I believe that stress is unavoidable. It is a part of life no matter who you are, what you believe in, or where you live. Everyone experiences stress, but not many people are aware of or want to admit that they are suffering from stress or know how to handle stress effectively. Stress management is a skill that you can learn. My goal in therapy is to help you identify your stressors, increase your ability to tolerate uncomfortable feelings, and be more aware of how your body reacts to stress. With some time together, you will learn to communicate your needs and set boundaries, practice new problem-solving skills, and develop healthy ways of coping. The best gift you can give to yourself or your loved ones is greater resilience and more kindness by learning to manage stress rather than avoiding it.
